Holiday Express – The Most Wonderful Ride of the Year!

All aboard the Holiday Express! Step onto our festive train ride filled with cheer, laughter, and surprises! Enjoy holiday games, sing-alongs, and a special reading of How the Grinch Stole Christmas - and keep an eye out for the Grinch himself! Don’t worry, Santa Claus will be on board spreading warmth and holiday magic to all.

The Holiday Express departs from the West Lake Forest Train Station (911 Telegraph Rd) on:

• Saturday, December 20, 11 am - 1:30 pm
• Sunday, December 21, 1 - 3:30 pm.

Ride is round trip from West Lake Forest Train Station to Fox Lake and back. 

Registration Information: 

• Registration opens on Tuesday, October 21 at 8:30 am at LFRec.com. 
• Registration code is 10390201
• Fees: Resident: $50 per person, Non-Resident $60 per person.
• Space is limited. 

Please note:

• Every rider (children and adults) must be registered to receive a ticket and board the train.
• The train departs on time. Please arrive early so you don’t miss the ride!
• All children must be accompanied by an adult.
